Why the Holistic Approach?

The Holistic Approach FDC scheme is the first and only national (soon international) scheme in the world!

This scheme has been designed to create a strong point of difference for all early childhood (FDC) educators that work from their own homes in Australia.

The Holistic Approach FDC strong aims are to:
  • Mentor educators in understanding how to Document More by Writing Less!
  • Clearly explain what the regulations expect and what is not a regulation!
  • How to practically achieve the NQF Exceeding rating by focusing on children’s voices and practical solutions!
  • How to set up an environment in a nurturing, inviting and aesthetically pleasing way!
  • How to nurture educators’ individuality and focus on their ‘niche’!
  • How to ensure FDC educators focus on their passion and not just paperwork. Hence, keeping alive the ‘the in-home’ care approach!
  • How to develop systems that help them market themselves and grow their business!
  • Understanding that an Excellent scheme is one which recognises how ‘the scheme must work hard for its educators and not that the educators must work hard for the scheme’!
